Diesel Engine Pumps
A diesel engine pump, also known as a diesel fuel injection pump, is a mechanical device that moves fuel from the tank into the carburetor. The pump’s purpose is to move fuel through the system and into the combustion chamber. Modern high-speed diesel engines typically use a fuel transfer pump. This pump is driven by the engine and automatically supplies fuel to the diesel injection system.
